This is one of 100 Thorens Reference turntables in the world that have been built on a limited scale.Optically in very good condition and technicallyflawless.Originally designed as a measuring machine and show object, only 100 units were built. The name was program - the "Reference" represented a drive of superlatives, which could hardly be described with words. The designers under the direction of Gerhart Metzler, Gustav Kleis and Managing Director Winfried Vogt had a free hand in the development of this monster, the price hardly played a role.
